The agreement between Spontar and your institution. In legal review — here is what it will cover and what is already true.
This document is not final
It is being reviewed by a lawyer and is not published as an agreement. If you need it now, write to us and we will send the current draft, marked as a draft.
Ask us for itWhat the agreement will cover
A licence to use Spontar, granted to an institution rather than to a person; what each side is responsible for; how billing works; and what happens when it ends.
What we can already tell you, because it is how the software works
- The licence is per teacher. Each licence also covers a set number of students, agreed when your institution is set up; the software counts students only to keep to that number.
- Ending a subscription deletes nothing. The licence runs to the end of the period you paid for, and your scenarios, groups and records are where you left them if you come back.
- An expired licence blocks new sessions and never interrupts a running one. A lesson in progress finishes.
- Your content is yours. Scenarios you write are yours; we claim no licence over them beyond what is needed to store and display them to your own institution.
- A failed payment is flagged, not enforced. Nobody is locked out of a lesson over an expired card.
Why it is not published
Because a contract written without a lawyer is a contract that will not do what either of us expects when it matters. We would rather say so than publish something that looks authoritative.
