What we aim for

WCAG 2.1 level AA, on this website and in the app. We have not been audited by anybody, so this is a statement of intent and of what we have actually checked rather than a certificate.

This website

Static pages, one stylesheet, and no JavaScript except a consent banner and the contact form. Every page has a skip link and a main landmark, one h1, a declared language, and alternative text on every image. Focus is visible and is not removed. Nothing animates, and a reduced-motion preference is honoured.

The score diagram carries a text description naming who is playing and who is next, because it is the one thing on the site that would otherwise be information conveyed by colour alone.

The app

The Cue a student holds is deliberately extreme: a situation in large type and a feeling underneath, on a plain background, with a colour state that is never the only signal — each state also has its own word and mark (Go, Get ready, Watch) and its own buzz, so a student who cannot distinguish green from amber still knows whose turn it is.

In the teacher app, text scales with the platform's own setting.

Where we know we fall short

• Colour contrast has not been measured across the whole palette. The body text is comfortably past the requirement; some of the muted greys used for metadata have not been checked, and at least one may not pass.
• No screen-reader testing has been done on the app. The website has been checked structurally, which is not the same as having been used with one.
• The score diagram is not usable as a diagram by a screen-reader user. It has a description, and a description is not the same as access to the structure.

We would rather list these than claim conformance we have not earned. If one of them is blocking you, tell us and it moves to the front.
